This Shipping Policy explains how Amino Connection prepares, ships and delivers orders placed through aminoconnection.com. It should be read together with our Terms of Service and our Refund & Returns Policy.
1. Order processing
Orders are processed as quickly as possible during normal business days. Processing and delivery times can vary based on when an order is placed, payment processing, destination, carrier availability, holidays, weather and other circumstances.
Orders are not processed until payment has been received and confirmed.
2. Shipping locations
Amino Connection prepares research products for shipment from our Carlsbad, California fulfillment location.
3. Shipping methods and charges
Domestic orders ship at a flat rate of $10, regardless of the number of items in the order.
Any additional shipping methods, expedited options or charges are displayed during checkout and may vary depending on the destination, the products ordered and carrier availability.
4. Sales tax
California sales tax is applied to orders shipped to California addresses, calculated at the rate applicable to the delivery address. Orders shipped outside California are not charged California sales tax.
Tax is calculated on the value of the products ordered. Shipping charges are stated separately and are not taxed where delivery is made by common carrier.
Any applicable tax is shown on the checkout screen before you place your order.
6. Free shipping
The $10 flat rate is waived on qualifying domestic orders over $500, which ship free. Qualifying order value is calculated before taxes and any applicable charges, and excludes shipping itself.
6. Packaging
Appropriate temperature-conscious packaging may be used when necessary based on the product and shipping conditions. Products are packaged to protect the material in transit and to keep the contents of the shipment discreet.
7. Tracking
Tracking information is provided once an order ships and is sent to the email address associated with the order. Tracking may take some time to update after a label is created.
8. Delivery estimates
Shipping dates and delivery estimates are estimates only and are not guaranteed. Amino Connection is not responsible for delays caused by shipping carriers, weather, customs, governmental action, incorrect delivery information or other circumstances outside our reasonable control.
9. International shipping
Shipping availability depends on the destination and applicable shipping, carrier, customs and regulatory requirements. Available shipping options are displayed during checkout when applicable.
Customers are responsible for ensuring that products may lawfully be imported, possessed and used for research purposes in their jurisdiction, and for any duties, taxes, customs charges or brokerage fees applied by the destination country.

10. Incorrect addresses and failed deliveries
Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address. Amino Connection is not responsible for orders delayed, returned or lost as a result of an incorrect or incomplete address.
Where a shipment is returned to us as undeliverable, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply.
11. Damaged, incomplete or incorrect orders
Customers are responsible for reviewing packages promptly upon delivery. If your order arrives damaged, incomplete or contains an incorrect product, contact us as soon as possible and include:
- Your order number
- A description of the issue
- Photos of the affected product
- Photos of the packaging and shipping label, when applicable
Please keep the product and original packaging until our team has reviewed the issue. Eligible issues are handled under our Refund & Returns Policy.
12. Changes and cancellations
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests received before an order has entered processing or shipped. Once an order has been processed for shipment, we may be unable to modify or cancel it.
13. Research use only
All Amino Connection products are sold strictly for lawful laboratory and research purposes. Products are not intended for human or veterinary use, diagnostic or therapeutic use, food use, cosmetic use, or household applications. By placing an order, you confirm that products will be used solely for lawful, non-clinical research purposes.
